Wireless Technology Club: Decoding Your Infrared TV Remote -- CANCELED

DESCRIPTION

Title: Decoding Your Infrared TV Remote

Workshop Leader: Seth Kendall KC1PZY

Time: April 20 @10am - 11:30am

Description:
Bring your IR TV remote from home and learn about the circuitry and coding needed to decode the signals and repurpose them.  Ever wanted to control something else in your home with your TV remote?  This workshop will get you on your way to doing just that.  We will use Arduino boards with IR receivers to decode our remotes' signals and trigger other components, like custom LEDs.

Feel free to bring your own supplies or borrow kits from NEST for the day.

Please read all the details on the Wireless Technology Club web page before signing up.
