Donations and Gifts in Kind


New England Sci-Tech Inc. is a non-profit corporation operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. 

We welcome donations of any amount from individuals and corporations. Please call ahead if you would like to donate material items.

We are currently operating with a 100% volunteer staff, so all donations go directly to supporting program. In order to expand our offerings and improve the curriculum, we would like to hire some part-time educators in certain programs.

Providing a dedicated facility to provide exceptional learning experiences requires funding on an ongoing basis. New England Sci-Tech is seeking corporations that would like to sponsor one of our science learning labs for $10,000 per year or one of our science curricula for $ 5,000 per year. For donations of greater amounts, please call to discuss additional levels of recognition.

NESCI-TECH LABS

When you sponsor a lab, your funding will be used to pay for maintenance and improvement of lab space, maintenance and upkeep of equipment or machines supporting the lab, as well as associated overhead and expenses allocated to the lab.

When you sponsor a lab, your corporate logo will be featured prominently on interior signage, on educational materials utilized in the lab, on our website and mentioned during facility tours.

Labs currently available for sponsorship are:

  • Planetarium
  • Space Science Room
  • Wood Shop
  • Computer lab/3d Printing
  • Electronics Lab
  • Battlin'Bots Robotics Arena
  • Main Makers' Lab
  • Conference Room

NESCI-TECH Programs

When you sponsor a program or activity, your funding will be used to pay for the creation and maintenance of educational program materials, ongoing consumables utilized by students in the lab, as well as associated overhead and expenses allocated to the activity.

With your sponsorship your corporate logo will be featured prominently on educational materials utilized in the lab, on our public calendar of events, and on our website.

Programs currently available for sponsorship are:

  • Youth Inventors Workshop
  • Cubes-In-Space(tm)
  • Public Astronomy nights
  • Rocketry Club
  • Electronics workshops
  • Battlin'Bots Robotics
  • Young Entrepreneurship Club
  • Wireless Technology Club
  • StratoScience: High-altitude balloon launches

Should you wish to support at a different level than a Lab or Curriculum, unrestricted funds may be donated to support rent, overhead, guest speaker per diem and other similar expenses in support of New England Sci-Tech's ongoing activities.

New England Sci-Tech welcomes “gifts-in-kind” contributions of items to build our available tool-set for supporting various STEM activities.  We accepts tools, books, musical instruments, amateur radios, robots, electronics, telescopes, historic display pieces, and almost any kind of lab equipment or consumable materials that can be used in the maker space.  For gifts-in-kind donations, according to IRS regulations, it is the donor’s responsibility to establish the value of the contribution.

Any donations to New England Sci-Tech may be tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law provided that no goods or services were received in exchange for the contribution.
